This panel session addresses the prevalence of insider data breach risk for modern enterprises, and discusses the significant impact these incidents can have on regulatory compliance and an organization’s bottom line. Together, the panel also examines solutions to mitigating this risk, looking at why legacy technologies have failed to solve this problem and the strengths of alternative, intelligent technologies.

Ste Watts, Head of Security Operations, Aldermore Bank
Ste has over 20 years experience in the IT industry, working in several sectors primarily tasked with protecting critical national infrastructure. Ste has been responsible for developing and managing key capabilities such as cyber forensics, penetration testing and governance, risk and compliance functions. Specialising in security operations, cyber threat intelligence and incident response, Ste has dealt with a plethora of incidents including DDoS attacks, malware infections, software vulnerabilities, third party risk and insider threat. Ste was recently appointed to the EC-Council’s Global Advisory Board where his role is to help to build capacity and create awareness among businesses, government and citizens in the field of cyber incident response.
Tony Pepper, CEO, Egress (chair)
Co-founder of Egress Software Technologies, Tony Pepper currently serves as CEO, overseeing all aspects of the business growth and innovation. Prior to Egress, Tony held executive management positions at Reflex Magnetics, Pointsec Mobile Technologies, and Check Point Software Technologies.
