    Janet Day, Independent Consultant
    Janet has worked in the broad sphere of legal IT virtually all her working life – even her MBA speciality was ‘Competitive Advantage in the Legal Profession’. After working in administration at A&O, Janet set up a specialist consultancy practice looking at technology services (in their widest sense) for legal firms.

    She joined BLP about 19 years ago – initially as a consultant but later as their IT Director with a wide range of responsibilities. She normally says ‘if it plugs into an electric socket and does not make coffee it belongs to me!’

    She was responsible for technology in its broadest sense, including ecommerce activities, knowledge management services and the building and infrastructure.

    Perminder has spent the last 12 years working in technology at national & international law firms. She moved into Information Security almost 4 years ago with a focus on governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). She holds certifications in ISO27001, Cobit 5 and CISM.

    David has been IT Director at DAC Beachcroft since 2013. Whilst there, he has delivered a new IT strategy, pushed for a cloud first approach and delivered agile working. His IT team, won Legal IT team of the year 2019.

    Objectives for the next 12 months are to create our second IT Strategy, putting clients and colleagues at the heart of it. Key projects / initiatives this year include delivery of our new PMS alongside a new matter inception system / as well as pushing Microsoft 365 into the business. Interests include cloud and social media and outside of work, rugby is a passion.

    Fahim is a passionate advocate of intelligent email security concepts that exploit new technologies to help customers mitigate insider risk and transform security into a competitive weapon

    Before joining Egress, Fahim served as Head of Product Marketing at GlobalData plc, a leading data and analytics company headquartered in London. Prior to that he was Vice President, Content at Gartner Supply Chain.

    Fahim is a keen guitarist, having played for the best part of three decades, while he also likes to ruin a nice walk with a round of golf. He lives in north London with his wife and two young children.
